Important Notice Regarding FOCUS FEST 2020
The recent CDC recommendations and national guidelines over the next eight weeks affect the FOCUS FEST planned for April 25. Considering our safety concerns for all participants of the festival and for the general public who may attend, we are canceling the festival until further notice at this time. We hope to be able to plan an event in the Fall but an alternate date has not been set; we will keep you informed. We welcome your suggestions for the Fall Event.
May God bless and protect each of you and your loved ones. Stay well and pray for all those affected by the virus and an end to the pandemic.
Keep up with FOCUS via the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/festivalofchristiansunited/ as well as the Website: https://www.focusonjesus.today/
FOCUS, EASTER and a PANDEMIC
What a strange title! It speaks of the season we are in now. Focus – Fellowship of Christians United to Serve wishes each of you a blessed Easter and is praying for your safety. Easter is not just a one-day celebration. Every day should be Easter in the life of a Christian. It is a time to remember that Jesus gave His life for us that we can be raised up with Him into a new life – every day when we turn to Him. Yes, even during a pandemic where there can be fear, anxiety, sorrow, loss of loved ones; even there, God lives and wants to console us, give us peace and healing, and His Love.
Throughout the world, we are learning new ways of having church. First, the church is not the building, but a people called by God to be His sons and daughters; a people who love God with their whole heart, with all their soul, and with all their mind. They also love their neighbor as themselves. (Matthew 22: 36-40). This is the greatest commandment taught by Jesus. This message is for every person on earth, yet we all fall short of both parts of it. We are finding through modern technology that we can join with others to share, meet, learn, worship and pray together. We are seeing church services online and even worldwide meetings of Christians coming together from all around the earth and many different ethnicities and doctrinal backgrounds. They have one thing in common: belief and faith that Jesus died for us and rose again to give each of us new life in him; to have a personal loving relationship with God Himself.
Some say God will return soon, but we know the Bride of Christ (the church) for whom He comes, is still splintered in many ways. And it said by many that we are on the verge of the greatest harvest the world has ever seen. And we may see that but as the church, we must come into one with Him and each other. The enemy does not want to see this happen, tries to keep us apart from each other and from Him; we can expect difficulties as we now see with this pandemic.
The purpose of FOCUS has always been to bring the Body of Christ together as one in Jesus; to respect and put away our differences. Only through that will those who do not know God, see a family of God who truly loves one another. Only then, will others be able to see God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Can we do that and keep our focus on Jesus?

Will the Church stand together for this event to occur in September 2020. Please view this video and pray for America and what our response will be for this gathering.
